Batwoman Coming to Arrowverse and Might Get a Series

Batwoman On CWEveryone is talking about Batwoman Coming to Arrowverse.  This december the next Arrowverse crossover event fans will be introduced to a live action Batwoman, specifically Kassandra (Kate) Kane who is currently holding the identity and making a name for herself in DC and the Bat Family. According to reports, the CW the series currenly in development with an eye on 2019 for the series release. Former The Vampire Diaries executive producer Caroline Dries and the Arrowverse mastermind Greg Berlanti will be getting the series together and they released the following press release describing the show:

“She’s a DC characters, armed with a passion for social justice and a flair for speaking her mind, Kate Kane soars onto the streets of Gotham as Batwoman, an out lesbian and highly trained street fighter primed to snuff out the failing city’s criminal resurgence. But don’t call her a hero yet. In a city desperate for a savior, Kate must overcome her own demons before embracing the call to be Gotham’s symbol of hope.”

Batwoman is one of the best super hero comics DC is currently putting out and it did not get bogged down by the eye rolling New 52 or Rebirth. Kate Kane is one kick-ass character, has a very interesting supporting cash and is actually related to Bruce Wayne. Let if the CW embraces all these things, which is probably what will happen since the CW has a reputation for embrace everthing big or small about DC heroes. No casting has been announced but we all know we’re going to have name actors and on scene stills by September. It might happen this week considering San Diego Comic Con 2018. I for one am looking forward to hearing how they are going to put this together and can’t wait for the actual series.
